5.5 months Dr Hasson 5138 FU UK Patient
My HT by Dr H at 5.5 months....
So, I'm not far off half way there and here are the photos.
The hairline is filling out and the left side is thickening nicely too. The right side and top are lagging behind at this point but maybe they will catch up over the next 6 months. They say the hairline comes in first so fingers crossed the coverage will even out then thicken on the home straight.
The photos show me that things have definately improved and although my blonde hair does not lend well to harsher light, in the dim light people have really noticed.
Let me know what you think..
Oh and my thoughts on the following...
Itching - God, it does my head in.....
Finesteride - Hate it, how do you get lean on that crap, I feel all woman!!
Post-op - All that worry, looking like crap and hiding from everyone
Patience - I have none, who has!?
Here's to hoping for more emerging hairs and maturation.
Thank you to this and other forum sights helping me and others leep sane

JohnnyB,
Looking good my friend, lots of great progress. You only have more improvements to look forward too. Thanks for sharing.

Looks to be coming along nicely. I think you're at the point where things really start coming together and the initial 'ugly duckling' phase is at an end. How does the scar look with that length of hair? With that number of grafts and a no-doubt discreet scar, it looks like you'll be able to keep it quite short.

Thanks for the responses....

Please see attached pictures of the back...I would say the scar is pretty discreet! I could probably get away with a shorter cut with the clippers. Dr Hasson and Joe discribed me as having horses hair but the closure seems a damn fine job as I'd say it was undetectable even this short.
I'm keeping it short until 12 months then hopefully it'll even up and its getting long!
Does anybody know why they say the hairline comes in first then the top and then crown? Is it blood flow to these areas?
thanks again
JB

Nope, no one really knows but it tends to be true for most, at least in regards to the crown coming in last. Something the hairline will lag behind the top or vice versa but the crown almost always comes in last.
