Severe shedding significantly worse with finasteride

I noticed about 2 months ago that I was losing massive amounts of hair. Every time I run my hands through my hair, I have about 10 or 15 hairs fall out. I do this 10 times a day plus another probably 400 hairs from my daily shower. It seems to be falling out everywhere in my head. weird thing is they are all healthy looking hairs. Really thick with color. And nothing attached to the end. I actually can't tell which side of the hairs detached from the scalp. Anyway a month after this started I got finasteride and a few days later somehow the shedding got worse. I'm 32 and haven't lost a single hair until a month ago. When can I expect the shedding to decrease. NOT when hair will regrow or see results but when will the actual hair falling out stop? I feel like hair should stop falling out relatively quickly like 1 to 2 months, if in 3 to 6 months hairs grow back. The shedding should stop much much sooner correct?

The way you frazed this is a little confusing. But there is an initial shed when you start using finasteride it means it’s working. In regards to you all of a sudden loosing 400 hairs a day. This is not very common with andragenic alopecia being its a progression. I would analyzing your life and see if there are significant recent stress or dietary factors that have recently come into play.
