Has anyone else experienced right angle bands on shed hairs

As the title suggests, I've been shedding loads of hairs of different thickness but they all have the same thing in common. The hairs have a right angle bend on them almost a triangle looking pointy bend anywhere on the length of the hair. Has anyone else experienced this? My hair has been going thin very quick the last few months so assuming it's to do with dht?
