    Default FUE Beard Implant

    Hello guys

Any advice on getting a small FUE transplant in the UK from scalp to beard?
Thinking somewhere in London or Manchester or Belgium?

Thank you in advance. Finding it very hard to find consistent information on any surgeons..? Even clearly recognized players i.e. Dr Reddy seems to be very controversial..?

Thanks. Does he have a waiting list? Any knowledge about Mr Feriduni?

    Went to Feriduni as well

Both great docs. Mwamba is more experienced with BHT though and a little cheaper.

I think the waiting list is less than a month last time I checked

    Default Scarring

Any chance of getting scarring in the recipient area? I.e scalp hair to face (to improve beard) - can this scar the face ? Thanks

You should go from beard to beard to beard, not scalp to beard. If you thinking of adding shape to your beard then you should consider taking beard grafts from the underside of your chin, the beard shadow area where it is barely visible head on. Beard grafts will blend in better with existing beard hair, scalp grafts will not and you may not be happy with end result.

I hope that make sense, all the best to you.

Thank you Shera. Your answer was helpful because it was not what I wanted to hear. Aside from the hairs being different to existing beard hairs (and I am not disregarding this fact) - are there any other complications / issues you would consider? I do not want to use my face as a donor as beard hair is already thin. Can I send you some pictures to show you the work I hope to get done and see what you think? Thanks

    Hi Calcatron,

Sometimes you have to accept things you do not want to hear. Aside from the hairs being different, there should be no other complications. There are other things you need to take into account, but send me your pics(email or whatsapp) which will make things a little clearer so I can advise you accordingly.

Usually insignificant, beard gets recovered very fast and you have dense one as a result, no scars will be seen. all depends on doctor and how he operates with pen. scars will be in any case, quantity and look depends on other issues.
