You should go from beard to beard to beard, not scalp to beard. If you thinking of adding shape to your beard then you should consider taking beard grafts from the underside of your chin, the beard shadow area where it is barely visible head on. Beard grafts will blend in better with existing beard hair, scalp grafts will not and you may not be happy with end result.

Thanks Shera this is very interesting. I had been trying to look into this but most sources say that it is a no go because of the extraction scaring. In my case, I have quite a dense neck beard and would ideally like to "relocate" a few hundred grafts to my cheeks to fill in a few patches. I suppose a top surgeon like Feriduni would be able to do this?
