4 months after FUT - worrying hairless patch
Hello everyone,
Today is exactly 4 months since I had a 2000 graft FUT done on my hairline. I understand that this is still early in the process, and I think that for the most part my hair is pretty much where it should be at this point in time, but I am worried about appears to be a hairless patch about the size of a small button right near the front of my forehead. I also know that individual hairs are all at different parts of their lifespan, but it seems odd to me that it's just this one spot where nothing at all appears to be happening.
I'm someone who frequently gets folliculitis all over my body, and I have had a couple of bad cases (i.e. infected bumps the size of dime) in pretty much that exact spot. Is is possible that those infections could have damaged the transplanted hairs?
Attached for reference are a couple of photos. I will note that this was taken under bright light, so a lot of my new hair (especially on the other side of my hairline) does not show up well here.
Thank you for your input!
