    Default 2423 grafts in the frontal third by Dr. Alexander

    This patient had 2423 grafts placed in the frontal third. He is 9 months post-op and is growing well. Patient does have product in his hair in the pictures.

    35cm long
    1.1cm wide

    Does the patient have to shave the front of his head for the transplant?

    No I do not require shaving my patients during transplants. If the patient doesn't mind then we go ahead and shave since it is easier to get complete density without having to work around each individual hair. If the patient does not want to be shaved we do not do it.
