I honestly can’t tell what is wrong with me or not?

The left side of my scalp has a visible line of scalp extending from my cowslick to the front of the scalp. Parallel to my cowslick I have another cow lick pattern one that is not as visible on my left side. I went to my Dr. and he said it looked like male pattern baldness. I am not sure if to go by his oppinion and I cant see a dermatologist till august.

The right side of my scalp is very dense and thick. The rest of my hair seems fine.
Is this balding? a result from my cows lick? Or could if be hairloss due to stress and weekend binge drinks? Could it be the pattern the barber cut my hair? I’m hoping its anything but irreversable male pattern.

I never noticed this because my hair grows fast and big. I normally don’t cut my hair but been doing so every week for the last 6 months. This is what I can see under certain lights. I mostly notice it under “yellow” lighting.

For me it doesn’t look like typical balding patterns. Good hairline and crown looks much more like a normal cowlick to me than any balding. With that certain light together with dark hair and lighter scalp, I would honestly be a bit surprised if that was male pattern baldness.

hair is also falling out at a normal rate. I wear a hairnet at work and never notice more than a hair or two. I lose the most hair while showering but it is nothing crazy like clumps in my hand. my last point is that I have gone through immense stress as of late. it could have caused some hair loss.
