Positive- I had more hair than that 1 year ago- I comb my hair to side and notice the increasing lack of hair density.
I am also going thru a rough divorce- so it may be stress related?- I googled that but nothing good found

My other question is on propecia- I heard of shedding lasting like 6 months and others say that there is no shedding. Honestly- I almost feel like propecia is giving me the hair loss.
-
Im gonna be honest, propecia hasnt helped me at all and Ive been on it for 3 yrs. Like you Im definitely looking into a transplant cause my hair looks very noticeable when wet. I'm just scared by some responses on this forum regarding hair transplant horrors.

jjjj, sorry if I sound like a party pooper, but you do not need a transplant. You look fine.
Also, remember that if you get a strip procedure, you will never be able to wear your hair short in back. You will have a permanent linear scar.

Thanks to all- I will go local first and see what they say- compare notes then see the Charlotte based guy who is certified.
I wonder why Raleigh does not have iahrs certified doc- we have ~ 1 million people in a 30 mile radius

You definitely have some recession in the hairline but the top of your head looks petty good dry. Are you sure Propecia is not slowing things down?

I suggest Dr. Mark Baxa in Charlotte. I've had two procedures by him and both were positive with good results. I wouldn't let a little bit of travel get in the way of a good HT. It's a decision that'll be with you for life.

Dr. Jerry Cooley really seems to be the best bet in NC. He’s the guy working with Acell and has a stellar reputation online. Haven't heard much about Dr. Baxa, but I’m sure he’s fine too. I just can't find any info on him.

Has anyone had experience with Dr Jack Fisher from Nashville,TN?? He's on the IAHRS website.

You don’t hear much online about Dr. Fisher, but that does not mean anything, some doctors just don’t go on the forums. If he’s on the IAHRS he has to be good.
