Maturing or Receeding? 26M and very worried!

Hi guys,

26 and just started to notice a bit of thinning at the temples.

I'm wondering if this is just a widows peak or a complete case of recession and balding?

My family and friends say I'm fine, the football lads say I'm receeding so I'm confused as!
