ID:	65530Alright everyone, I’m a 24 year old from Glasgow and basically my hair has been my most defining feature and my pride and joy my entire life. I started to feel my hair slightly thinning on my left side when I was 16, which made me paranoid but was virtually unnoticeable. So fast forward 8 years and my hair is still my best feature but now I feel my right side is starting to get finer as well. I’ve decided to start a 1 year course on finasteride and minoxidil from the Belgravia centre. It’ll cost 1000 pound but so I’m just saving up enough cabbage atm. Anyway here’s my pics

Honestly mate save your money because you don’t need it yet and maybe won’t ever need it. Your current hairline is totally normal for 24 - it’s an adult hairline.

The Belgravia Centre should be avoided at all costs they would prescribe finasteride to anyone under the sun regardless of what their hair looks like.

If you’re really worried and can’t get it out of your head, do some research and fork out on booking an appointment with a recommended dermatologist that specialises in hair loss and cares about patient welfare. It will work out much cheaper than the Belgravia Centre.

Yeah I will shop about, cheers for the advice. For hair remedy’s it is confusing as you hear one thing from a supposed specialist which is then contradicted by someone else. But I do think the only known drug that can stop DHT and maintain hair is finasteride. But there are things I’ve researched that you can do for hair preservation without taking this which is: 1. Control estrogen - eat choline and betaine . Lose body fat, as estrogen is stored there . Up vitamin A, K2 and vitamin D . Reduce exposure to estrogenics in environment and diet .
    2. Control cortisol - stress management . Lower prolactin levels by taking ashwaganda, vitamin E supplements, el dopa and up zinc intake . Increase vitamin B6
    3. Improve thyroid function - take thyroid supplements and iodine and selenium supplements.
    4. Hair follicles require glucose, fructose and pyruvate. What do you think? Cheers

I'd start with just the minoxidil. The side effects of the other medication you mention are terrible for some, if not all, who take it.
