Is it ok to immediately drop Finasteride when transitioning to Dutasteride (.5mg ed)?

ive been on fin for 4 years and have lost ground

been on dut for the past month

1st week = mwf
2nd week = eod
3rd week onwards = ed

but ive also been taking Fin everyday still

can i just drop fin?

also how many times do you take dutasteride and finasterid throughtout the week?
