20M have been thinning for the past 2-4 years please help

hi, i have noticed my hair receding since i was 15-16, my hairline for the most part has been like that since i can remember, i didn't really bother to be aware of it until i turned 16, ever since then i have been aware of it, looking back on it it almost has been the same from then up until now, so i haven't really been receding these past 4 years, what changed though is thinning (or so i think) i have noticed thinning maybe 2 years ago, and everytime i wash my hair and dry them some of them detach, the amount of hair i lose during that process usually varies with how often i wash them. (the more often i do the less i lose)
to add some context my dad is bald in the middle of his head, he has hair on his sides, my mother doesn't have any kind of balding or thinning, my brother doesn't seem to be thin or balding that i know of, though i might be wrong.
my main concern is how long can i go on without my hairline completely receding?
i don't really care about expensive cures with a lot of side problems like minoxidl if in the long run it's going to hurt me, i rather recede, i don't really care if i will turn bald when i am say 40 or 50, i rather turn bald then and have good health, if the case would be my hair receding badly when i am in my thirthies that would be a problem, as far as i know my dad had hair for a long time, i can't really recall when he lost them so i don't really know too much genetically, any help would be appreciated and thanks for taking the time to read this poorly written post. (i really need to write more, sorry)
