White scabs vs red scabs after implantation
I've seen both kinds of scabs after surgery, does anyone know the cause of this? Perhaps the solution the grafts are stored in after harvesting?

They are the same. When red scabs are visible, they're dry. When they're white, they're wet. They absorb moisture when you're showering after your surgery and when you see them in photos where the patient is still in the chair, it means the techs were pressure washing the scalp, so again, they absorbed the moisture.
