Is my hairloss male pattern baldness or something else

21 yo Asian male here.

I noticed recently that my hair has started to thin, especially on the sides of my head (pictures below). Now the thing is that I have always had a bald spot on the side of my head (I looked back at my old pics when I was 13, 14 and confirmed it), but it seemed to be expanding now. I checked my shower drain and my pillow but there almost no hair falling out on them. I looked up male pattern baldness and the Norwood scale and it seems my hair loss is not the same. My maternal grandfather also is not bald. I think I should go to see a doctor, but until then, I would like you guys opinion on what kind of hair loss I am suffering. If I do have male pattern baldness, how severe do you think it is, and what I should use to treat it? I have images taken of my crown, my hair on the side and when I pull the hair back. Sorry for hiding my face I am very self-conscious lol.
