    Default Help with new hair

I had my transplant surgery two weeks ago. Being a woman, I have long (shoulder length) hair. When my surgeon made the sites for the donor hair follicles, he nicked some of the existing hairs and cut them off. They are now starting to grow back and feel quite weird. As of yet, they are not noticeable, however, my worry is that soon they will look like little porcupine spikes sticking up out of my head, while the rest of my hair is pulled back (to help cover the strikingly thin part that's still there right now).

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with the new hair as it begins to grow and is too short to really hold back with hair spray, but too long to be hidden by my existing hair? I start back at school in two weeks (right about the time I think it's going to look just LOVELY...lol), so any help would be great!

    Thanks!

I have had some females use head wraps or bands temporarily to help with situations like yours. Hang in there the short term can be a little tricky. Hopefully, you will forget all that in the long run.
