    Failed Hair transplant with DHI

Hi guys - thought I'd share my story

I started thinning around my crown and went to DHI for a 1000 hair transplant that completely failed. They were pretty inexperienced and I didn't do my research properly so I have suffered as a result.

I'm considering going to India with Dr Arvind Poswal - is he as good as all the news states? Alternatively I was considering Turkey with Dr Resul Yaman. It is hard to find a doctor who does the extractions, incisions and implantations with a competitive price structure and even Dr Resul doesn't appear to do the extractions instead using technicians.... can anyone reassure me about Dr Arvind Poswal as he seems to have the most published results available on Hairsite????

    Any help appreciated?

Hey Pal, sorry to hear about your experience. DHI seem to advertise a lot on instagram, but I’ve never seen any good feedback for their work otherwise I might’ve strayed down that path too.

I can’t comment on any of the above dr’s you’ve mentioned, but just wanted to comment on one of your requirements for a dr.

It’s unlikely you’ll find a dr that performs all 3 stages on their own. Even the top dr’s use technicians to assist with some of the steps. The whole procedure is very labour intensive and requires a high level of skill and stamina . If there are surgeons that perform the whole procedure than they must be highly skilled and therefore will charge a lot.

So my advice would be not to use that as one of you criteria as you might be quite limited.

If you are looking at turkey maybe consider dr koray, dr dogany or maybe erkem civas who has a lot of examples of his work on these forums.

    Good luck with your journey

      Thanks for the reply.
DHI are really bad - they stick you on finasteride without warning of any side effects and they have so many failed cases - me being one of them - i really regret getting the procedure done.
Dr Baubac in the USA is one doctor who does all 3 stages on his own but he charges a lot of money because as you say it involved a high degree of stamina and skill.
I am really keen to find out from anyone who know more about Dr arvind as he has the most published results on the Hairsite??

If you're experiencing hair loss, you may be wondering if you can have a hair transplant. A hair transplant is a surgery that is used to change the structure of hair on the head. The surgery is usually done in a hospital, and it is usually a long and difficult process. fall guys
