Greater Los Angeles Hair Transplant Surgeon recommendations
Does anyone have experience with the doctors: Baubac Hayatdavoudi, Paul
McAndrews (both greater Los Angeles based), and or Dr. Ravi Dahiya (greater Washington DC)?
I’m looking for feedback on all three of these doctors. I am in my 40s, and looking for a hair transplant to bring my hairline forward create density and look very very natural. my hair loss is focused on a receding hairline but the remaining portion of my hair appears to be very thick, and it appears that I have a very strong donor area.
Any thoughts and/or feedback on any of these doctors would be well appreciated. Thanks!

McAndrews, based on my research, has a really good reputation.

Thank you. I ended up doing a consultation with Dr. McAndrews and he was very informed, and I felt very confident with him.
However, I feel even more comfortable with Dr. Baubac because he has so many stellar before and after photographs. Do you have any thoughts on him in particular? thanks!

I consulted with all three, and decided to go with Dr. Baubac Hayatdavoudi. I will update everyone on the progress but the procedure was last Wednesday so its a bit soon. Having said this, so far my experience has been great.
(On a side note, both Dr. Paul McAndrews also in Greater Los Angeles, and or Dr. Ravi Dahiya (Greater Washington DC) were absolutely WONDERFUL during the consultations I had with them. This is no slight on them whatsoever. I simply felt that Dr. Baubac was the right fit for me.)

Hi, any feedback on how your procedure went? Successful? Followup on Dr. Hayatdavoudi? I'm in LA and thinking lockdown is a good time to consider the procedure.

So far things have gone well. It’s been about 13 weeks and I am pretty sure the toughest part is behind me. Dr. B was great and his team has been very responsive and helpful post-op. This is particularly impressive to me given the lock down/circumstances. I think I was one of his last procedures before the lockdown, and most of my recovery has been in private. If you can do it now, I think it’s a great time because you will not be around many people post-op because of social distancing. I have been in sweats at home every day since my procedure and not worrying what my recovering hair and scalp look like because of social distancing, and just tending to my scalp properly. Regarding the final results, it is too soon for me to tell. Having said this, so far my recovery has been exactly as Dr. B described it would be. I am cautiously optimistic. I will come back and provide an update in a few weeks when I start to see the new hair coming in. I hope this helped!

Thanks so much. That's what I'm thinking -- if you're gonna do it, now is a great time. When you say the toughest part is behind you, what did you find difficult?
