Where to begin?

I am a 30 year old woman and I have been losing hair since I was 23. I have gone to see a dermatologist and I have talked to my PCP but they basically gave me the old line "all woman lose 100 hairs a day" and "it's normal for women to lose some hair". The only time my hair stops falling out is when I am pregnancy. During both pregnancies, my hair loss stopped and I had regrowth. I recently had my tubes tied so my regrowth during pregnancies is over. I would like to seriously start addressing this issue but have no idea where to begin. Any advise would be awesome!
