You should wait until you obtain the results of your blood work before proceeding with treatment. If your hair loss was due to your immune system attacking the hair follicles, the treatment would be different and more aggressive compared to someone that had male pattern hair loss. If I am not wrong, I believe one of the side effects of Accutane is hair loss, and I have known a couple of individuals that lost their hair once they started taking it. Also, keep in mind that pattern hair loss can skip generations, so it may be a possibility. I would suggest contacting a doctor specialising in hair restoration and if possible, go see them for an in person consultation. Wish you the best of luck and hope you can get to the bottom of this
