Turkey HT Norwood 6
So i have had excessive hair loss at 23 untill 28 i've not seen much loss and now i'm 30 i think i'm ready for hair transplant in Turkey
Look at a few places that have said 3000 graft needed but i think i need more.
The best one i've seen is Cosmedica which Dr Acar does the job himself but due to huge hair loss they recommended for me to take more hair from my body and beard to do more coverage which is extra £400 overall costing £3650. Has anyone had hair taken from body and beard and transplanted on the head?
Any advice?

Obviously got advanced baldness going on. What's the hair on the back and sides of your head like? In your situation, need to focus on working on the front (donor area permitting) with the aim of framing your face. 3000 grafts will probably give you OK coverage at the front but will be lacking on the density front imo seeing as you pretty much have no native hair up top. Forget the back/crown for now. Someone with your level of hair loss may also want to consider FUT as an option.
If you go down the body hair route, make sure it is not used right at the front/hairline and ask to see lots of example of body hair transplants from any surgeons. Hair from the beard is generally a better option than body hair. See mixed results from body hair and for me it's almost like a last resort for repair patients who have depleted donor areas and been left a mess but suppose can depends a lot on the surgeons experience with using body hair.

You would be perfect for this before you try a transplant.

Hey! Did you go to Cosmedica in the end? I have the exact same quote, my hair loss isn’t as bad but a NWV.
Looking to go around March.

Hi Frank i got 4.5k done on the head but it was more focused on the front which is pretty dense. I left the crown to be done next time in 10months. I was afriad of them overharvesting. I was happy that head was scab free within 8 days. Head is pretty healthy and my donar part is pretty much healed.
So at the moment i'm using natural shampoo. Vit, Fish oils and biotin.
