First hint for newbies: Use a subject line that conveys something about the topic of your post, such as "Is Bosley any good?"

Well I have been with hairclub for about 4 months now.I think it was a big wast of money.I just kinda rushed into it and not done my my do delegens and research first.I guess my advice would be.....go and see what they have to say but dont feel pressured into getting into a contract.this is the best place for information on what you can do for you're hair loss and treatments.Good Luck!

I would definitely advise you not to jump into anything without extensive research. Large chains will often have very persuasive sales reps who make it difficult to leave the initial meeting without committing to some procedure or membership. If you proceed with your consultations, be very weary of this.

The quality of a hair restoration procedure will often come down to the quality and experience of the surgeon you use. A problem with chain clinics is that you often have little control or knowledge of who will actually be performing your procedure. Transplant results are something you will live with for the rest of your life, you only have a finite donor supply of hair that can be transplanted, and repair work for botched procedures is very expensive...meaning that you definitely don't want to take any shortcuts or make any decisions abruptly.

This website is a great resource for learning about different hair loss and transplant procedures, as well as researching some of the best doctors in the world. A good place to start is with a complete list of IAHRS-recommended physicians by location: http://www.iahrs.org/SearchDoctor.asp
