Default Best doctors for repair work, southern CA?

There are so many HT doctors in the area, but can you suggest any that stand out for their success in doing repair of older work?

    Hi Jeff,

Welcome to the forum ! You've a number of reputable surgeons in your region and you should ever let travel restrict you however you've Dr. Ken Anderson in Atlanta and he is not only an excellent caring ethical surgeon but a great guy too. Certainly worth meeting him face to face for a consultation especially if repair work is required so he can help assess the best plan of attack based on your personal goals and also what you are personally bringing to the table.

Dr Anderson is a IAHRS accepted member and I recommend him to patients.

    I hope this helps

Hi Spex, and thanks. Sure is good to have resources like these forums.

Agreed that travel should not be a restriction. For my last (#8), I flew to the mid-west, but that was 9 yrs ago. With all the clinics in California, I was hoping that some stood out for re-working old grafts or BHT or other techniques?

Sorry man. My Geography is out there I didn’t realise you meant California. My bad.

Check out Dr. Amir Yazdan who’s another IAHRS accepted member and ethical guy who I met for the first time in Manchester recently. He was telling me he does many repair cases and I’ve seen several of his patients over the last couple years so I’m confident he’d be able to advise you accordingly.

You’ve also go Dr Scott Alexander in Phoenix whos not too far form you I work with and represent so feel free to ping me pics and I can get you in direct touch with him if you like. Consult with as many Drs as you can and gain a good all round opinion on your options based on supply vs the demand and goal.

    I hope this helps

No worries, Spex. Being half a world away, it is entirely understandable.

Agreed on Dr Alexander. I had actually done a consultation with him years ago and he seems highly skilled.
Dr Yazdan is one I was not aware of from researching docs for my last procedure. He is really close and pictures on his website look impressive. Hairlines are something I look at in particular.
I will definitely put this clinic on my list for consults. Thanks for the info and suggestions!
