Question about hair loss that stopped, but never improved.
Hi, I wanted to ask if this is common as I have thus far been able to find little information online.
My hair started falling out about 8 years ago (when I was in my early 20's). I was told I would be going fully bald soon, one doctor (general not specialist) estimated within 2 years
But At some point the hair loss stopped. While the old hair never grew back.
Leaving me stuck in the same place I was 7 years ago, which is more or less halfway to baldness. Very thin front, more hair in other places.
I have the appearance of someone who started to go bald in the last few years and people remark that I will go bald soon, just like those 7 years ago did.
Does anyone here have experience with this kind of situation?
And if so, would solutions be different? Most hair products I come accross emphasize stopping the hair loss process. I don't need to stop the hair loss process as its been on hold for a few years now.
Nevertheless all the hair follicles that fell out between 2012 and 2015 (estimate), stayed out.
Thank you for your help.

It is very possible... I have been Norwood 2 for the past 5 years and I have not receded further since then

i am very similar to your situation. I started losing hair evenly throughout my scalp when i was 16 and the thinning occured for about 1 year and my hair as been the same since (21 now). Very thin but no hairline recession
