Losing hair on the sides.
Hi, i'm 28 years old. I have been losing hair on sides of my head for a while now(I consulted specialists before and they said its normal and it did look close to normal) but it is getting worse lately. I have looked up on the internet but cant find much information regarding this pattern. I have consulted a hair specialist and she said she has never such pattern before and has advised to see a dermatologist and get laser therapy meanwhile. I consulted a physician and the physician ordered a blood test and said will refer me to a dermatologist based on the results.
>Do any of you guys have an idea of what might be causing this?
>Do i take laser therapy(once a week) as advised by the hair specialist until i get a dermatologist appointment(usually takes 2-3months where i live)?
ps: hair is shiny because i applied cocunut oil as advised by the barber. I have never used any medication for hair loss until now.
Thank you

I doubt the dermatologist will be able to tell you much. Most of them know very little about hair loss. What is a hair specialist? People don't get good results with laser therapy or we all be using it.
I don't really see much..maybe some thinning but also could be the haircut and the lighting. What medication are you using? Coconut oil does nothing.
