Finasteride and dutasteride. You can get it online, as many of us do. Just try "STOP4BALD" (please search on Google, I don’t remember the link). I’ve got great results with it.

Does prices vary site by site or every company has same price on treatments?

Rogaine, i.e. a fancy name for Minoxidil, is only available on a private prescription, about £50 for a 2 month supply. I use Minoxidil 4% and it's been fantastic. I've seen excellent results in a short space of time.

It is true though that measurable changes in hair growth disappear if you stop using Minoxidil although this is generally only the case with genetic hair loss. Because my hair loss was caused by a medical problem and is not ongoing, in time I will wean myself off using it.

If you are really serious about finding treatment for your hair loss the best thing to do first is speak to your GP and first find out is there a cause for the hairloss etc and perhaps then pay to see a trichologist regarding appropriate treatment. You can't just Google some medications and decide they are right for you until you've got the full details behind why your hair has started to thin. It could just be a health/lifestyle issue such as low b12 or low iron and then that's relatively easily sorted and your hair will restore itself without medication.
