Looking for help for my 15 year old

Hello and thanks to everyone here. I started losing my hair at 16 and it was devastating. Now my 15 year old appears to be in the same boat and it is breaking my heart. I just purchased Rogaine but he is too young for Propecia. I see a lot of conflicting opinions here on derma rolling and laser treatments but If any senior members can offer advice I would be eternally grateful.

    Again thanks so much

Can anyone recommend a doctor in the Los Angeles area to see for non surgical options? Thanks

After watching Spencer and Joe's interview with Dr. Bauman I will be getting topical finasteride as well. Thanks for the podcasts. This information is priceless and was unfortunately unavailable when I was young enough to use it.

Theo, dont jump the gun with topical finasteride unless youve spoken to a doctor that can monitor your son and his labs. He is still developing. Finasteride as is has lots of side effects. Id rather you talk with the doctor first and maybe look into some healthy vitamins and rogaine topically at most. Your Kid is losing hair but you should not want him to risk sexual sides and brain fog even with topical finasteride or anything else. Topical finasteride is not even proven or something studied in detail for safety and efficacy yet. Dermaroling can also be detrimental to his growing scalp and developing skin. Hang in there - i can completely feel how terrible it is to see your own child go through this at a young age. Its tough. Best of luck
