Exclamation Hey Balding runs in family, extreme crown loss at 21 want to die it’s so bad

Hi everyone. Over the past 6 months I started tracking my balding on my crown. What I didn’t realize is how much it has accelerated. All the dermatologist I have seen have said just live with it but I literally can’t. I tracked the progress monthly and noticed every month it was getting worse. After seeing multiple dermatologist there best advice was to deal with and use nizoral. But **** that I like my hair. I haven’t had any major thinning all around except on my crown. I can’t figure out when I should start and what to use between fin and rogaine and or something else. I’ve heard fin can make you infertile and that worries me as my long time girlfriend wants kids just as badly as I do. I suppose my underlying question is, when do I start? I still have a full head of hair except my crown looks horrible, but I’m worried if I start I’ll have major shedding because of the medicine and that will kill my hair line. I really need advice on what to start and what to do as my crown is getting worse daily and it’s killing me. Please help. Click image for larger version

It looks ok in those pictures but they're very small. Just start taking fin and see what happens.

I’m not sure why they’re so small, sorry about that! In Regards to fin what about the infertility it can cause and shedding?

Idk really, I've been taking it for years and never had a problem, although some guys will tell you that your junk is definitely gonna drop off - you could just give it a try and see what happens?

I've never actually met any guy who had a problem with fin, but obvs, it's not something I discuss with a lot of people in real life, so the forums might be a better barometer. Or they might not. But for me, I've never experienced any side-effects at all.

Um, can't really help with any of those I'm afraid - except yes, it is forever.

If you're in the US I think you can just buy it without prescription in a drug store. If you're in the UK, Spex knows a guy. As for dosage.........I can't remember what normal dosage is, I think it's usually a 1mg (per day) tablet for branded propecia, but 5mg for generic finasteride (so the same drug but without the branding).

Well to make you feel better I also have MPB and at 35 I had a pulmonary embolism which can be a deadly condition and now I have to continue living with anticoagulants which put me in an increased risk of bleeding events so just remember your MPB is not killing you. But there are other real conditions which can so just feel lucky about not having them!

I'd trade hair loss for your embolism any day.
