Dr Cole 2963 graphs FUE + prp & stem cell
Hi all,
So I just got back from Greece, Athens and had my first hair transplant done.
Initially I was scheduled to have approx 1500 in the crown and 1500 in the hairline. But due to a number of factors which I will explain later I ended up with 2963 on my crown.
Firstly I would recommend that everyone understands how local anaesthetic works. So I was a very fast burner and more it’s administered into your head the quicker it wears off. I had so many injections approx 100!! And this really wore me down and 40% of these were very painful!
So for a number of different factors including this over the course of two days I had Only crown filled.
I was surprised it jumped from 1500 to almost double. It’s day 1 and I do have some bleeding on my donor site and it’s quite sore!
I also had prp and embryonic membrane mixed to help regrowth.
Here are my pics so far any questions or comments most welcome.
It be great if you can advice on what to do or take to speed the recovery.
Currently just using a mist water spray given to me. Shampoo after tomorrow as my session didn’t finish till 22:30 day two. Total hours of surgery time approx 19 hours
I had many 3s and 4s but not many 1s and 2s.
I have been recommend by Dr Cole to go and tropical finstride and regain and see how my front fills out.
Will keep you posted
Thanks

Looking into clinics and seen this is a new one so interesting to see results further down the line, although 2 very experienced surgeons so should be some nice results coming out.
The work looks good. Just one question though, isn't it normally said it's better to start hair transplants in the front and work backwards or is that not always the case? 3000 grafts to start off in the crown seems quite a lot but it should make a big difference.

Hi Franky,
Yes it’s a lot of graphs on the crown and still wondering why, also I wanted the crown work as this was effecting me the most.
I did have hairline work planned and graphs taken but not completed. The reason was given to me was to try the medication and see how this helps. I’m at Day 5 now and things are coming on. Too early to say anything. I do have sore / painful areas where the whole punch used was larger mainly on my right side of the head. Also left side was not touched, which concerns me as after I went home I noticed an unusual manner of graphs taken. But it could be normal. Anyone else had the same?

I've been on topical and haven't noticed much results in the hairline, but seems to be working on the crown. I just looked at some random old photos and my new ones and I see a difference. That's why I want to start on the front first only and see if I can regrow my crown with topical. I was on Dr. Cole's formula but have switched to a 15% minox that I used previously just to see if it helps more with hairline.
Here is my formula from Murray Avenue Apothecary: (who are great btw)
15% minoxidil
0.1% finasteride
5% azelaic acid
0.25% progesterone
0.025% tretinoin
0.1% hydrocortisone
Uses glycerin and only a little PG and I haven't gotten any irritation at all from it.
