    3100 grafts - Dr Bisanga ( Athens )

    Dr Bisanga and Cole -

I decided to go for a FUE Hair Transplant at the age of 35.
As many people here , it took me years to decide . It IS a big decision. Last month , I have made that decision and the Surgery Day was yesterday 14-05-2019. Here is a blog to record my day-to-day progress for many of my fellow undecided people here .
I have attached two pictures of me that were taken just a day before the transplant.
Rewinding a bit - A month and half ago , I consulted with Dr Christian Bisanga. Throughout his meticulous consultation, I was advised to focus only on my temporal/frontal area . I was recommended a FUE hair transplant , in which they will be extracting 2500- 3000 grafts from my donor region, which would be use in my frontal area .He advised me to go on minoxidil too . Those who know Dr Bisanga , not only he is a king in FUE , he is also a very straightforward and quality person.
And with the very helpful Lina ( Dr Bisanga patient coordinator ) , it took only a matter of days to schedule my surgery at his new clinic - Dr Bisanga and Cole in Athens.
Yesterday was the BIG day in Athens 14-05-2019 .
It was a 12-14 hours surgery. Dr C. Bisanga was personally around much of the time to ensure that everything goes on smoothly. He has that presence that makes you feel secure . The staff did an incredible job to get everything done by 23hr . They even found the last G.O.T episode for me , which they projected on Tv . They are all very good and friendly .Merci .
I reached my hotel and slept at a 45 deg angle most of the night . Considering the long surgery I had yesterday, much to my astonishment, I didn’t feel pain at all . Woke up pretty good .

Today , I have post surgery appointment with Dr C. Bisanga @14hr . We will go again through the last checks

Finger crossed , hope the results come out nicely .
Pics will follow ( can’t attach them with the poor hotel WiFi )

Its great to hear that you have not experienced any pain at all. Im sure that will be a positive point for anybody reading your thread.
