Thread: Should I Start Finasteride? (NW 2.5 at 19)

I’m soon to turn 20 and I’m experiencing visible signs of male pattern baldness. The prime symptoms are crooked temples and rapid thinning. I’ve exhausted plenty of natural remedies without any improvement.
My current regimen consists of:

• Nizoral 2x per week
• saw palmetto
• pumpkin seed oil
• fish oil
• biotin

I’ve already gone through the difficulties of getting generic fina at this age and I now have it but I’m hesitant to start. It’s a 5mg variant which I’d chop in 10 at first, and slowly implement it through a quarter gram a week, to let my body grow accustomed to it and avoid sides. I’d be gradually increasing the dosage to the point where I take half a mg every other day.

Just meant to ask if anyone here had any thoughts or advice on my situation. It may seem brief at first but I didn't mean to take up too much of anyone's time reading through. Not that there's any much but I could provide additional info should anyone need it. I simply cannot afford to lose my hair.
