Hair thinning at the top, but no recession, can someone help me please?
I'm 22 years of age now, brown asian. Before the age of 20 I had very dense think hair to the point that I couldnt see my scalp ( or rather it would be a narrow thin line). I always did have dandruff issues even as a child. And it would get pretty bad and I would be prescribed meds to reduce it. When I hit 20. I started to notice excessive hairfall. Mostly on the top of my head, the area before my crown. And this thinning just went on. I consulted many doctors, some say its male pattern balding, and some say its some kind of scalp issue or deficiency. I've done my fair share of research and most male pattern balding would mean that the hairline would recede, and yet I would say I'm a norwood 0 at this point. If you see my photos, I look like someone with a head full of hair but a view from the top would tell you otherwise. My hair also sometimes comes off when I just run my hand through my head, Again this is focused mostly on the top of my head and I still have dandruff, although now I take topical medication and it's improved a lot . Both sides of my family have zero history of balding. And infact have thick hairs well Into their 60s. I need to know what this is. If it is male pattern balding , I'd like Consider my options. Please help
