Lightbulb Has anyone tried scalp shrugs for vasodilation or a similar effect?

I'm doing an experiment where every few hours I move my scalp skin via brow "shrugs" and mild contortions. The technique isn't simple to describe but it comes naturally. The normally immobile skin on the vertex moves forward & backward 1/2"+ if it's done right. I do it for 10-30 seconds each time, whenever I remember to.

I could just manually rub my scalp but this feels more meaningful for total blood flow. Various muscles of the face are working and they're normally idle. While it may not cause true vasodilation (e.g. minoxidil) I'm hoping it will "wake up" the hairs on the top of my head.

Does this exercise seem to have physiological merit?

Well, it seems semi-logical, if not scientific. Just wondering if anyone has thought of it before and tried it for awhile. One likes to thing something can be done that isn't already popularized.
