Scar coverage with permanent tattoo design

Have previously undergone 4 hair Transplants in the uk 15 yrs ago. This has resulted in a strip scar at back of the head around 200mm long 10 mm wide. I have recently undergone smp into scar with not much success. The next route I am considering is shaving the back to a zero guard and going to a tattoo artist to get a tattoo designed to cover scar and flow down back of neck. I have not found many examples of this online where patients have tried this and managed to cover the scar with no detection. Has anyone actually tried this option on here or know of any examples. Any feedback on this option and whether it would possibly work is appreciated. The fact that I can’t find many people actually doing this is making me think would it actually work. ??
