Fighting a receding hairline, where do I stand and what steps do I take next?

I have a receding hairline; when I was about 16-17 I went through a period of extreme stress that simply caved in the hairline on the two sides.

Now I am 31, I cant really tell how much it is receding but I want to be careful hence I have visited a dermatologist. I am on Minoxidil 10% since April, a shampoo and hairgrowth capsules (Biotin and other supplements). The last doctor I visited was in 2017 and I did not follow her regimen strictly - now I am very serious.

Attached is the album with progress from Feb this year, note how the two sides cave in and the right side even more aggressively.

    Hairline :

Crown : (Looks like a cowlick more than thinning, doc says its fine. Taken with flash)

Both the temples seem bald, but on closer inspection I can see hundreds of small miniaturized hair - can PRP help reinvigorate this area ?

Also, what about FUE, is it worth it ?

I think that you are being very harsh on yourself. From the photographs that you have provided, your hair looks in good shape for a 31 year old. I could see no close ups of the hairline so can't be too specific and I can understand your concern in the crown. Keep an eye on it.

FUE or any other surgery - Forget about it.

Maybe consider topical finasteride but try not to stress too much about things. I would love to be in your position.

You are worrying about nothing dude, clear paranoia.

As is the problem with many men who are worried about going bald, the real underlying issue is a lack of confidence and placing FAR too much value on their hair.

Literally so many more important things in life, and having hair or no hair is not the main reason whether a girl finds you attractive or not.

Don't waste your money on these crap products. Your money is better spent on a gym membership or buying cool clothes
