20 Yr Old, Advice?

Hello, Ive been on these forums for the past 4 months and decided I’d finally post something and hope for no cancerous comments.

So originally I have always had a “high hairline”(i know u always hear this) however I am not denying the fact that I have male pattern baldness as that is pretty obvious. I’d put myself at a Norwood 2.5-3, more leaning on the Norwood 3. Would you say the same? Also how fast does this historically progress for a 20 yr old who has progressed from NW 2 to 3 in about 6 months.

I have noticed my recession pick up quick dramactically over the past 2 years but specifically over the past 5 months moreso.

Personally for me I’d like to keep my hair as I am only 20 - would you recommend propecia? I honestly do not plan on being on it for more than 1.5years if I do go on it as I simply just want it until I finish College as after I could really care less and probably could afford a hair transplant in about 2 month after working (bright future, besides the point). Real question is would you recommend Propecia (and its possible side effects - slim yet possible no matter what u say) for someone looking to keep/regrow their hair to what it was 2 years ago?

Do you think I have a strong chance of regrowing any hair as all the recent recession has been in the last 5 months (bad habits - too many drugs, not enough food etc)? If so would I have to hop on it like within the next month? Also I have heard that some start losing more hair than usual the first 2-3 months of propecia, is this true to any degree?

Please keep all strong opinions away, like the “take the drug ***** or youll be bald in 2 years” those really arent educational and helpful in any way. All constructive responses are appreciated.
