Hello, this is my first post here (sorry for my English), I'm 45 years old, Norwood IV A. No medical treatments. After asking 4-5 Doctors, I decided to Go with Dr Cole in athen, after fiew emails where he put me in confidence, and having exchanged with Mr Raferti the representative of the clinic the date was set for March 31st.
So arrived in Athens 2 days before, time to visit some monuments ... the d day appointment at 7am with Mr. Cole, a simple, very kind and professional man, we feel he is involved, he listens to me and tells me that we will first see what we have in fuel (donor zone) before drawing the road map.
Unfortunately I have only 13600 graft in my donor zone the average is 15300 UF...
Dr Cole came to explain me this, and reassure me, he draw then the front line, and the team asked me to move to operation room, the team was composed of experienced American assistants, and very involved Greeks (Evry body was very nice, and welcoming).
place to anesthesia, not the most sympathetic moment of the intervention...
Then doctor cole start, it was a real Marathon, about 12 hours of procedure for 3600 grafts, I had the feeling that the doctor really wanted to succeed the operation and meet my expectations, and seeing it made me happy and comforted in my choice of doctor.
After this long journey the Greek doctor accompanied me to the hotel, in a taxi.
Next day i saw again Dr Cole, and the Greek Doc, they give me the post OP indications. Again every one was nice
