whats the maxium follicles for hair transplant?

Ok.......so I'm sort of pessimistic about any treatment working and I want to know what the max hair follicles one has every had for a hair transplant. I need to know to start saving.

I always heart the most is about 5000. Thats about $50,000

Please dont lecture me about the variables involved and stuff. My question is ASKING YOU whats the max that you've HEARD or KNOW OF....so I can start saving appropriately.

The top end spectrum is about 7-12k grafts from what I gather. 7 being relatively low and 12 being VERY high. I've heard of one successful case at 13k grafts. To maximise, strip it out first then have FUE.

Dr. McAndrews advises that the average patient has about 6200 grafts they can donate to themselves without compromising the density in the donor area. There is a slight variance with hair color and type, but this is a solid number on which to base your estimates.

I would say that from everything that I have read it seems that around 7000 is the max to be removed unless you are willing to have a thinner appearance in the donor. There are some guys who have had 10,000 who look great though.
