21 years old with diffuse thinning- how bad is it?
https://imgur.com/a/Tg2cWLl
a bit of background:
I experience periodic shedding all over the head and I've experienced it for the past years, since I had 18.
I have several tick-borne illnesses which are uncommon in my area that I believe are causing hair loss- my mother has this too. I used minoxidil for a year and a half but then must have quit because it was expensive and I think it has caused TE, which I have heard can happen.
Neither of my grandfathers were bald, there is no baldness in my family. My mothers father was a NW 2.5 and had thining later in life.
In some light, it looks fine (I recently buzzed it down to a 0) and I can see many thick and lightly coloured hairs but in other light it looks terrible.
I thought this was a thyroid disorder but I found out I have an autoimmune condition and other tick-borne illnesses caused by tick bites. Still, though, I am skeptical. Please tell me what you think and how bad it appears. Thank you for being patient, I am working on my English
