Any difference in Propecia mg?

Started going on finasteride today, but decided to go with 5mg and get them cut into pieces 1/4 so it’ll be 1.25mg. I was prescribed 1mg but the difference in price is over 100$ so decided to get them cut.

My main concern is there any real difference between 1mg and 1.25? I’m 6ft and 200 pounds also.
