Default Hair Loss from Head Trauma ... Advice Needed

    Hi Guys,

At the start of December i was hit with a blunt instrument and required stitches in my head. The stitches have been out for around 3 weeks now, and I have been left with a small bald spot a long the scar and under the scar.

My hair covers it but when i comb my hair to the side is can be seen. My question is should the hair start to grow back underneath the scar after some time?

Typically, hair won't grow back where there is a scar, so there's a few things you can consider:

    1) I actually don't think this looks bad, and a battle wound isn't the worst thing in the world. If you own it, it could really add character and be a great conversation piece. I have a few friends with similar scars and they've come to love and embrace them.
    2) If it is something that really bothers you cosmetically, you could look into getting a small procedure of FUE HT into the scar so that it minimizes its appearance.

Either way, I'd give it some time to keep healing so you know for sure what you're dealing with.
