    Opinion: am I going bald?

Hi everyone, that's my first post. I am 21, and no one in my family has ever gone bald. My father, 53, has every hair at its place, and even my grandpa, 86, still has got a little.
I am experiencing quite a thinning on the top of my hair, but I can see it only when I take a picture of it with flash switched on, or with a light pointed right at it. I'll show you some pics: Is it a serious thing or I just have thin hair? How can I handle it?

Hello, unfortunately it does look you have some thinning on top and on the crown, it could either be telogen effluvium or Male pattern baldness. I would go to a hair specialist and get them to check for signs of miniaturisation. If it is MPB you're in a good position to do something about it. Also, any balding/bald males on your Mother's side?

My grandpa from mother's side and his brothers had receding hairline in their 40s.
If it's MPB what would you suggest me to do?
P.S.: Tbh, I'm not that upset about getting a buzzcut

If it is MPB it all depends how serious you are about treating it. You maybe able to bring back what you've lost slowly overtime on 1mg fin alone, or you may need to use minoxidil as well. My hair loss was more serious than your's and after three months of using fin and minoxidil religiously as well as derma rolling every other day I would say I've got back about 90 percent of my hair (how long it's going to last I don't know, but just extremely grateful it's back for now). Before starting treatment I buzzed my hair down to a grade two, that way it was much easier to derma roll and get good contact with each minoxidl application. After about three months and after good signs of regrowth I let it grow to a grade 5. In addition I also take zinc and biotin supplements, lots of healthy food as well, fruit, veg, eggs, tuna etc.
