hair weaving or hair extentions
hey ppl just wondering if anyone has tried hair weaving or hair extentions for thinning hair and to cover bald spots. have heard ppl can now braid ure hair into cornrows using synthetic or real hair to make it look thicker. downside is that one must redo it every 2 months or so. let me know ure thoughts

A downside to hair weaves and extensions is that they can sometimes create traction alopecia. A condition where more hair is actually pulled out of the scalp because of the stress you are putting on the existing healthy hair.

Don't do it...
If you want to keep the hair you have, don't do a weave. The process has been almost universally discredited. Traction Alopecia WILL happen and the hair that is pulled out does NOT grow back.
Any company that recommends weaves does not care about their client's best interests - they just want the money.
