Going to begin minoxidil

Going to begin minoxidil, Dutasteride is only helping so much. and I want to halt this BS right in its tracks. age 24 atm and almost nw3.

I am not looking forward to the shed, anybody want to share their minoxidil story?

Hello, I am currently on my 7th week of minoxidil and 3rd week of dermarolling, it has been a roller coaster ride to say the least. I started shedding very quickly, maybe only after 4 or 5 days of using it. My definition of shedding is approximately 50 hairs whilst applying the minoxidil, especially during the morning application. This intense shedding lasted 4 and half weeks and was a mixture of miniaturised hairs and a few normal looking hairs. At one point I honestly thought if shedding continues at this rate nearly all my hair from my hairline to my crown will be wiped out (I am a diffuse thinner, with miniaturisation all over my front and mid-scalp and my crown somewhat. By 4 and a half weeks my shedding when apply minoxidil noticeable reduced to about half, so about 20 to 30 hairs during each application of min. By now, the seventh week, fingers crossed, most shedding seems to have stopped, with only about 5 hairs on my hands after applying min in the mornings. Also I have noticed that the miniaturised hairs have pretty much all shed and now the few I am shedding a decent sized. Anyway, praying for some regrowth now, fingers and toes all crossed.
