How bad is it ? How to Prevent it

Hello Guys, I am like 19 years of age and recently my hairs are shedding like cat and dogs . yep! .First my hair were thick and dense now it's weak ,fragile and and i can see the scalp.
I can't afford propecia and minidoxil because you have to commit to it and I just can't take it for that long. So I am asking you guys if you can advice me on what to do.
One more thing I can see tiny tiny hair on the bald spots if I look very closely.
