Hair loss at the age of 25
I'm 25 this year . my hair is dropping a lot.
Will the medicine be cured or should I give up this hair. And if anyone can tell me the name is not. thank you

There is currently no cure for MPB, but there are medications that can help slow it down quite considerably, and sometimes reverse it in small ways. Speak to a reputable HT surgeon about getting on Finasteride or Rogaine (or a combination of the two) and see if it's something that can help preserve your hair. A HT surgeon can also guide you in planning for a HT if indeed you're a good candidate for one. You're still quite young, so do tons of research and really take your time making that decision should that be something you're interested in.
I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA. My opinions/comments are my own and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Dr. Mohebi and his staff.
