I'm 19, always had head full of hair, by some accounts too much. Nobody in my family is bald and i had a very stressful year, my hair started thinning 6 months ago i think but only at the crown so I don't think it could be due to stress. Give me your opinion please, thanks in advance! I've put a picture of the crown and one of the back hair. 1 year ago the crown was as thick as the back.
Am i going bald?

Hello, as your crown is thinning, then yes it could be MPB. If you are very worried and concerned about it I would go and see a hair specialist who can use a microscope to check for signs of miniaturisation. That way you will know for sure and can do something about it if you choose to. IMHO the worst thing you could do is believe that because no one in your family is bald that it is unlikely that you will go bald. Yes, genetics play a big part, but as long as you're male you have chance of MPB. If you do have MPB, it is only in it's very early stages and could be 'fixed' if you chose to. All the best. -
