Just started propecia (finasteride)

Hello all, I have recently been taking finasteride (11 days) no noticeable effects or side effects, however my doctor recently discouraged me by stating how likely infertility is from finasteride. Is this the case or is my doctor just misinformed? He recommended using regaine instead, but my issue is with applying it twice daily and how it effects the appearance of my hair and the implications if i forget.

Hi fantasy123,

I would seek a second opinion, especially when he/she says get off finasteride and go on rogaine instead... long term finasteride will help prevent future hair loss and especially as you have had no side effects to date... So if I were you I would speak to your nearest hair clinic to to curb any worries you may have...
