Hi Folks
I'm 5.5 months post op of my FUT 2500 grafts to frontal and mid area.
I undertook 100's of hours of studying and had My hair transplant done by a UK NHS (National health service) surgeon that rebuilds people faces as for the NHS but also has a private hair transplant practice.
I asked for dense pack grafts but ever since about 7 days after the surgery i could see that the graphs seemed very loosely spaced and not dense packed, in some areas there are spaces of a square centimetre where there are little to no grafts, look at the first set of photo's then the second set of photo's showing other peoples dense graft per centimetre.
Note: The photo's seem to of come out small so zoom them to see clearly
Now look at the following photo's of other peoples hair transplants of dense pack grafts.
I know i'm only at 5.5 months but all the hairs from grafts are sprouted 3 cm long, but as per the attached photo's showing my head 7 days after surgery the hairs are only 5-15 hairs per square centimetre and makes my hair look like its thinning, i know people say that the hair will get thicker over the next 12 months but the problem is that the hairs per square centimetre wont get any more dense.
The grafts per square cm after 7 days post op as per photo's was always a concern but i thought i would wait and see as i know many think after 6 months their hair transplant has failed but as said if the density is not there its not there.
The Hair transplant clinic is only 5 mins drive from my home and on the 7th november i have my 6 monthly checkup.
I wanted to put this to the Bald truth community to see what others comment, i hope some HT doctors could see this as well to give me some advice.
Thought: Do you think my HT doctor maybe errors on the safe side too much to ensure maximum Graft survival? nearly every other video and photo of HT ops show density at least twice or more of what i have.
Is Micro grafting/FUE the answer to filling in the gaps?
Thank you for any help and comments in advance.
