Am I losing my hair?
I am 23 and think I think I am losing my hair become super paranoid about it these last few weeks and noticed I lose about 20-30 pieces of hair a day I think around, my hair has always been thick, my dad is about 55 and still has all his hair and my brother a year older than me still has all his hair and his hair is good perfect, one or two of my uncles are bald I think but most are not. My hair has always been good until noticed this, i am sure didn't have it before. Not sure though. I could be wrong.
It's my crown area that worries me, I hadn't noticed up until around now when I saw a picture of my crown area? I'm sure it always use to be full set of hair without the crown area showing? Anyone know how this last month I reckon that has happened?
My hair grows quite quickly, need a haircut every month or less. My hairline is fine, I wouldn't say anything wrong with that, just the crown area, any advice please?
Also this occurred lately when I was thinking does jelling my hair up, ruin hair? and then got paranoid and starting to notice lately noticing losing 20-30 pieces of hair a day? Don't think I use to lose hair like that or maybe I hadn't noticed but now have as I am paranoid.
I don't do drugs or smoke, I wouldn't say I stress over things much either as see this can cause hair-loss.
Going to attach pictures of my front set of hair which looks normal and then the back of my hair where my worry is.
Anyway to combat it so can get it back to normal?
Would getting a haircut 1-2 on the sides make this go also? As was going to get it short as usual and very short on the sides skin fade nearly.
Thanks

You might be. Hard to tell for sure. But start minoxidil and if you’re inclined finesteride. The early you start the earlier you can delay or keep what you have. Just be warned, once you stop, hairloss will rapidly speed up.

A dermatologist for sure. But honestly I don’t remember exact numbers but like what 30% of men start to show signs of baldness by early 20s with 80% by 50. So it’s pretty common.
